Swimming Sports

Yesterday we went to our swimming sport day When we got there we got changed into our togs. Before we went into the pool we had a quick rinse in the shower.

I waited until it was my turn to race. I listened out for my name.
When I heard my name I went into the pool.

I waited until it was my turn to race. I listened out for my name. When I heard my name I went into the pool.

It was fun. I liked the kick board race. I like lying on the kick board, kicking and making splashes with my feet.

I was trying to come first. I did well.

The Fantastic Concert

Posted on 4:36 PM by babli panday
Outing to the Concert

Yesterday  we went to the Kiwi kapers Concert  in Auckland. When we got there the people showed us where to sit  before the show started.

The MC was dressed up as a duck and he sounded like a duck.It was funny and we all started  to laugh. The concert was about the orchestra playing and the Firebird Dance.

I enjoyed it very much.

Firebird Concert

Yesterday we  went to the kiwi
Kapers  Concert. A man was making
duck noises and the kids were dancing, The lights  were changing and the stage was red. The dance was called Firebird.  I enjoyed the concert.

THURSDAY, 23 OCTOBER 2014

A Fiery Performance.

Yesterday, we went to the Aotea Centre in Auckland. While we were there we watched the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra perform for the Kiwi Kapers Concert.

When we arrived and took our seats inside the building, we saw a slideshow at the front of the theater. The slideshow showed a variety of questions relating to music. Whenever the slideshow gave the correct answer to the question that was shown, everyone in the audience would start shouting because they got the answer right.

As soon as the show started, we listened to the Orchestra play a couple pieces of music. One of my favourite pieces of music was called Hedwig’s Flight, not only because it was the Harry Potter theme, but it also had a very nostalgic feel to it, combined with the uplifting music.

One of my favourite instruments was the violin, because it is one of the main instruments in the orchestra. When a number of people gently play the violin, the sound is a bit muffled, but it still holds a beautiful tone.

There was also a major performance at the end of the show called The Firebird. It consisted of many people from different schools dancing to the music.

Some of the music at the end of the performance was so beautiful that I nearly cried tears of joy.

Overall, it was a very awesome experience at the Aotea Centre. I would love to go listen to the orchestra again, if it is going to be on next year.

The Firebird Concert

Today we went to the  Firebird Concert at Aotea Centre. The music was good and the part I liked most was  the Flight of the Bumble Bee.I liked it when the dance people came out.The dance was long and beautiful. My favourite instrument was the violin.

Fun at the concert

Yesterday we went to the Kiwi Kapers Concert the Aotea Centre in Auckland city before we went to the concert we had morning tea in the Aotea Square. Then we went inside to listen to the wonderful music. I really liked the dancing and the orchestra, it was really pretty. In some  parts of the concert it started to get a bit funny and the big drum near the end of the concert made me jump. We also saw lots of kids shouting at the start of the concert. I think I know why the were shouting. It was because they had a screen of all of the orchester instruments on it. I really enjoyed the concert and I would really like to go again.

Happy Music

Today we went to the city. When we got there we had morning tea. After morning tea we went inside and we tried to look for door C. We found it.  A man came  and took us to our seats. I sat down and I was waiting until it started. When the show started I was happy and I started clapping. The piano was beautiful I really liked it. The duck came, he was so funny and I was laughing. My favorite was the Harry Potter music. I was thinking about Harry Potter. I was getting tired, but the drums woke me up because it gave me a fright and it was loud. The people who were dancing were cool, it must be hard to dance. The dance was long. After the dance the concert was finished. We went outside and I was stretching. We went to the van and we went back to school.

Cool Concert

22.10.14

Today we went to the Aotea Centre to watch the Kiwi Kapers
Concert. First we found our seats. Before the concert started there were questions on a screen about the orchestra. The orchestra played some songs in front of the stage about a bee, insects and also a song from Harry Potter. Then there were students performing the Firebird dance on the stage. It was so cool when the girls lifted the boy in the air. My favourite act was when the students were dancing and the orchestra were playing at the same time and my favourite instrument was the violin. It was fun.
